Hi! I'm Emma, and I created This Side of 30 to share my travel experiences with you. I believe that adventure is for everyone, regardless of age or stage. 

 

I love traveling and exploring the world, and I want to help you do the same. Whether you're looking for tips on where to go or want to explore the world through me vicariously, I hope This Side of 30 inspires you to get out there and see the world! 

 

I have a husband and an American Eskimo Dog named Sitka, who I often tag along with on my travels. I also take trips with friends and sometimes hit the road solo. I used to work in an environment that didn't allow me to take any days off, so I decided to use this side of 30 to explore the world and share my adventures!  

 

In addition to traveling, I enjoy hiking, reading, art, music, and learning about other cultures. My favorite word is "adaptability" because it's essential for survival (and thriving) when you're constantly on the move.
